Rubber Plant | Ficus elastica Care:

• Light: Provide bright, indirect light, such as near an east-facing window or a few feet from a south/west window. Avoid harsh midday sun. Insufficient light can lead to leaf drop.

• Watering: Water only when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry, generally every 1-2 weeks. They are sensitive to overwatering, which causes leaf fall.

• Soil and Drainage: Use a well-draining, peat-free houseplant compost, ideally amended with perlite or orchid bark.

• Temperature and Humidity: Prefer temperatures between 15-27ºC. Keep away from cold draughts and heater vents.

• Fertiliser: Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
