Prayer Plant ‘Tricolour’ | Maranta leuconeura Care:

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight causes leaf scorch, while too little light fades the, vibrant, dark green, light green, and red colors.

• Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Use filtered, distilled, or rainwater, as tap water can cause brown, crispy tips. Allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry before watering again.

• Humidity & Temp: High humidity is crucial. Maintain temperatures of 18-24ºC.

  Use a humidifier or place on a pebble tray to prevent drying.

• Soil & Fertiliser: Use a well-draining, airy potting mix, such as one containing perlite. Feed every two months during the growing season (spring/summer) with a balanced, diluted fertiliser.

• Maintenance: Prune, or pinch back, stems just above a leaf node to encourage bushier growth.
