Nerve Plant | Fittonia sp Care:
Light: Bright, indirect light is essential. Avoid direct sun, which scorches leaves; they thrive near north- or east-facing windows.
Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, reducing frequency in winter.
Humidity: High humidity is critical, 50% or higher. Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or mist regularly.
Soil: Use a rich, well-draining potting mix, such as one containing peat moss and perlite.
Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 18-26ºC, ensuring they are kept away from cold drafts and heaters.
Fertilising: Feed with a diluted, balanced liquid fertiliser every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season (spring/summer).
Maintenance: Pinch back stems to encourage bushier growth and prevent the plant from becoming leggy.
