Dragon Plant | Dracaena sp Care:
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light; can tolerate lower light but avoids direct sunlight, which scorches leaves.
Watering: Water sparingly; allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. Dracaena is sensitive to fluoride, so use filtered water or rainwater.
Soil & Drainage: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as one designed for succulents or cacti, in a pot with drainage holes.
Temperature & Humidity: Prefers temperatures between 18-30ºC. It thrives in high humidity and benefits from regular misting or a pebble tray, particularly in winter.
Fertiliser: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser once a month (or every 6 weeks) during spring and summer; stop feeding in autumn and winter.
Maintenance: Remove dead leaves and trim brown tips in a V-shape to maintain appearance.
