Devil’s Ivy | Epipremnum pinnatum

Devil’s Ivy | Epipremnum pinnatum CARE:

  • Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light to maintain variegation, but adapts to low light or shaded areas. Avoid direct, intense sunlight to prevent leaf scorch.

  • Watering: Water thoroughly, then allow the topsoil to dry out before watering again. In winter, reduce watering as the plant prefers to be drier.

  • Soil & Potting: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as standard houseplant compost mixed with perlite or orchid bark. Our Everyday Soil Mix works well.

  • Temperature & Humidity: Thrives in temperatures of 15-25ºC

(though it can handle 10-35ºC) and enjoys high humidity, which can be improved with regular misting.

  • Feeding: Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser once a month during the growing season (spring/summer).

  • Maintenance: Prune long, leggy stems to encourage bushier growth.

  • Safety: The plant is toxic to pets if ingested.
